- 1Take a few photographs of yourself to see how you respond to the lens. Your face and your ability to work with it in front of the camera are two key characteristics an agency will look at first. Consider getting the photos professionally done. Professional photography, even if it is expensive, will give you a better idea of what kind of look you project. - Do some research on modeling agencies. Check out their websites and their signed girls to see how well you fit in.
